Grinding Carbide has typically been a very dirty job - in a dirty atmosphere. With the expected tolerance of today's tools - that combination doesn't work. ATI has invested heavily in coolant filtration and air filtration. Coolant is filtered to ONE micron and only full synthetic oil is used in grinding to eliminate cobalt leaching. The shop and the coolants are kept at an ambient temperature to eliminate tool growth. We welcome visitors anytime. We're very proud of our manufacturing facility.
Custom Tooling & Design.
Much of ATI's initial growth was due to the ability to manufacture highly CUSTOMIZED TOOLING with the same delivery time as standard tooling. It is not uncommon to have your special order - delivered the next day. We understand that your business is under the same time constraints as our business.
We make tooling to customer prints or we will design to customer part prints.
