Under the supervision of the Group Care Program Manager, the Milieu Supervisor (MS) oversees the day-to-day operations of the Rivers Bend Campus (RBC) in accordance with Norris policies, protocols, and procedures, licensing requirements, placing agency expectations and best practice standards. The MS ensures hall services address youth needs according to their personalized plans (i.e., treatment, learning, etc.), helps employees implement trauma informed principles, uses and teaches de-escalation techniques, and serves as an overall resource for programs and leadership team. The MS directly supervises the Youth Care Specialists. The MS has primary Leader on Duty (LOD) and medication administration responsibilities on a routine basis.  The MS ensures sensitivity to the ethnic and cultural diversity of youth, families and employees while effectively communicating and promoting the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of Norris. The MS position requires the individual to work a flexible schedule in order to support the needs of programs and understands that their schedule is subject to change to meet the program’s evolving needs at any time, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Bachelor's Degree required: Degree in social or behavioral science preferred.  May consider an Associates Degree with a minimum of 7 years relevant experience.
A minimum of 2 years of leadership is required.

Starting salary is based on education and required experience factors.
