Renaissance Milwaukee West, a premium distinctive hotel is seeking an energized and curious minded Busser to join our team in Eldr+Rime.

Our restaurant takes inspiration from Scandinavian lifestyle but serves beverage and food that are familiar to every American palate. The name, which loosely translates to FIRE+ICE highlights grilling over live fire and wood oven roasting while also offering delectable seafood prepared over ice. We have one of the best cocktail bars in Milwaukee. Featuring our happy hour or as we refer to it, Hygge Time. In addition, our patio for outdoor beverage and dining, which can be enjoyed all year including experiencing one of our Stugas (igloos) in the winter. Dome dining in the igloo is a one-of-a-kind experience.

Role Summary:

• Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room and service areas. Provide professional, competent, and prompt service to guests.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively monitor and anticipate guest needs. Assist servers by advising on guest needs.
• Organize and restock service stations and condiments.
• Sort dishes and carry trays to utility station.
• Polish dining utensils daily.
• Assist with food running.
• Assure prompt, efficient service according to dining room standards.
• Report to work on time and in full uniform.
• Working efficiently and comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
• Fold napkins throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply.
• Maintain minimum cleanliness standards of all dining room and service areas (including dish removal, pre-bussing, trash removal, and floor maintenance - mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming).
• Bus tables at a moderate pace with attention to detail.
• Continually execute sanitation and cleanliness standards.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Fine dining experience a plus.
• Flexible availability is required (including nights and weekends).
• This position requires continuous standing, full mobility, and lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and on occasion up to 70 pounds.

Compensation:

• The starting pay for this position is $9.00 per hour. This is a tip-eligible position.
