Job Description

Job Summary:

Responsible for Daily cleaning of all Camp Bathroom facilities and cleaning of Lodges and Cabins Between User Groups and as needed per user requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Janitorial duties, including such items as cleaning rest rooms, cabins, shower areas and dining facilities in all Camp Buildings
  • Assists and monitors camp in Property Director's absence.
  • Responsible for building cleanliness for programming and rental groups
  • Responsible for collection of waste and recyclables and depositing in dumpsters on a regular schedule.
  • Responsible for splitting and stocking firewood bins in designated areas.
  • Responsible for maintaining sidewalks, building entrances and exits clear of Ice and Snow
  • Responsible for monthly inspection and maintenance of smoke Detectors, CO Detectors and Fire Extinguishers in all Camp Buildings
  • Serve as a Camp host to user groups on a rotation basis, including weekend work as assigned.
  • Works to preserve a safe Camp setting by actively managing risks and promoting safety in all facilities.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience Requirements:

  • Experience with janitorial duties, wood splitter, hand tools, small appliances (such as a leaf blower) or able to be trained.

Skills:

  • Ability to work indoors or outdoors year-round in a 4-season environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and evening work as required.
  • Computer literacy is desired.
  • Ability to drive a golf cart or be trained to drive a golf cart within 2 months of employment.
