What We Need:
Brady is looking for a driven, passionate, talented digital merchandiser to join our growing team! This role is responsible for generating revenue and driving customer engagement by optimizing the shopping funnel to create an intuitive online experience, whether the customer is researching or buying. The digital Merchandiser will leverage historical data, key ecommerce metrics (eg traffic, conversion, average order value), and customer feedback to make data-driven decisions to further drive results. This role collaborates with Global Product Managers, Marketing, Digital Product Management, User Experience, Digital Marketing, and Product Content Management. The Digital Merchandiser will also share best practices with Merchandisers globally and across websites.

What you'll be doing:

  • Apply key ecommerce and merchandising business principles specific to achieve financial and lead generation goals. Responsible for digital revenue and engagement for North American websites.
  • Continually evaluate, test, and improve merchandise taxonomy.
  • Develop cross-sell and up-sell opportunities throughout the shopping experience.
  • Leverage online analytics and customer feedback to maximize conversion and engagement. Monitor metrics, report trends, variances and issues, and take appropriate action.
  • Request and demonstrate business cases for new website features and tools. Document website bugs and test website functionality (bug fixes and enhancements).
  • Support new product launches by completing merchandising tasks, including creating product titles, cross-selling products and setting up supporting content.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support marketing initiatives and projects.
  • Plan, analyze, and respond to changing business needs, including developing and executing contingency plans when necessary.
  • Identify and reduce internal process or system inefficiencies.
  • Review competitor websites to stay current with the competitive ecommerce marketplace and manufacturing trends, initiatives, and opportunities.

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in digital merchandising, owning the customer experience within an ecommerce website, or similar relevant work experience.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and drive conversations to identify, plan, and execute opportunities.
  • Experience managing product data (content, pricing, image assets, etc.).
  • Understanding of web analytics, including Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Power BI, or similar analytical tools.
  • Familiarity with modern eCommerce platforms.
