Summary: The Human Resources Generalist plays a valuable role in creating a culture of connection, collaboration, and development. This role is responsible for tactical support and strategic guidance within the organization to foster a positive people experience. Specific duties include:

Responsibilities:

  • Process bi-weekly payrolls timely and accurately.
  • Track and report monthly and quarterly data in a timely manner.
  • Compile and report HR metrics to monitor and identify trends.
  • Identify training needs within the organization and assign and track courses in the LMS.
  • Facilitate employee onboarding, including new hire orientation, regular check ins and completion of required paperwork.
  • Participate in recruiting activities to include sourcing, screening, reference checks, offers, and pre-employment screenings.
  • Maintain HR databases and systems to ensure accuracy of all employee changes.
  • Assess the effectiveness of HR programs and policies using data analysis and suggest improvements.
  • Provide guidance to employees in the application and interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in resolving employee concerns and grievances in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage vehicle allowance policy including documentation, payments, etc..
  • Facilitate the total rewards process by supporting managers with bonus and commission plans and providing guidance on compensation adjustments.
  • Seek meaningful ways to foster diversity and inclusion activities throughout the employee life cycle.
  • Conduct offboarding surveys to gather and analyze employee feedback, identifying trends.
  • Review, track and process spot award nominations to promote employee recognition.
  • Update company policies to ensure compliance with local and federal laws.
  • Respond to audit inquiries as needed.
  • Foster the talent management process by partnering with managers and employees on performance and development plans.

Qualifications:

  • Four year college degree
  • Minimum 3 years HR generalist experience
  • HR certification preferred
  • Payroll processing experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Dayforce preferred
  • Experience working in a global company preferred
  • Ability to maintain a high level of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work across departments to build consensus and achieve common goals
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task meeting frequent deadlines
