Position Description
Are you a design engineer with experience in the rubber sealing industry? If so, then this is the job for you!
VanSeal is the premier designer and manufacturer of radial lip and hydraulic rubber seals and mechanical seal components for rotating equipment applications in the automotive, off-highway, agricultural, appliance, power generation, marine, medical and aerospace industries shipped worldwide. We are looking for an experienced design engineer to join our team!
The design engineer will be responsible for designing products to meet application requirements and other customer needs and expectations. This includes research into customer needs, bench marking designs and developing leading edge design technology. This position is also responsible for the manufacturability and cost competitiveness of the designs.
Qualified applicants MUST have previous experience designing rubber seals. 3-5 years previous experience is preferred. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent strongly preferred. Must be proficient in CAD, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office products.
