ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Tests operation of new and revised products as a function of design and product revision.
• Operates and provides support for instruments
• Operates laboratory equipment as necessary to execute testing.
• Creates and uses laboratory methods
• Compares test results on new and prototype products to product design requirements and specifications.
• Collects data to be used in determination of the suitability of the product for customer use.
• Documents and reports results of experiments.
• Reviews final product documentation for the purpose of determining technical accuracy.
• Performs validation for both new products and where required for product revisions.
• Maintains laboratory equipment.
• Operates computers.
• Conducts job tasks in compliance with company quality system requirements.
• Some exposure to potentially hazardous chemicals is possible
Job Requirements
EDUCATION: Minimum B.A. or B.S. degree in a scientific field (chemistry or biochemistry preferred).
Non-degreed candidates will NOT be considered for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with HPLC, GC, KF, and wet chemistry techniques preferred.
